Students will work under the supervision of a senior emergency clinician/physician observing and participating in common emergency presentations, their assessments and management. Students are expected to participate in triaging of patients; taking history and performing physical examination of patients presenting to the Accident and Emergency Department. The course will also introduce students to basic principles of anaesthesia.
