Background Information:
The Oceania Comparative and International Education Society (OCIES) is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting educators, researchers, and education stakeholders in the Oceanic region and worldwide. It has been an inclusive space for over 50 years, encouraging collaborative links and fostering high standards in comparative and international education.
OCIES is one of the 40 societies that represent the UNESCO-affiliated World Congress of Comparative Education Societies. Its members organize an annual conference and publish a flagship journal known as the International Education Journal: Comparative Perspectives to promote excellence in comparative and international education. The society also supports new and emerging researchers through the OCIES (NERO) program.
The upcoming conference, with the theme Quality Education for Sustainable Futures: Comparative Dialogues, will be hosted by the National University of Samoa in Apia, Samoa from 14-17 November 2023.
Registration for the General Public are as follows:
- Daily Registration Fee: $70 – includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon
- 3 Days Registration Fee: $200 – includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon
- Dinner Fee – $100
- Cocktail Fee – $100
