The consultation discussed the available scholarships funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in New Zealand for the In-Country Training Short Courses offered by the Oloamanu Centre for Professional Development and Continuing Education of the National University of Samoa. The available short courses and micro credentials were developed in order to improve and maintain productivity within the workforce

The series of consultations to promote “Professional Development and Continuing Education” were held at Taumeasina Hotel for two days to cater for all Government Ministries and SOE’s on the first day, followed by the private sector, civil society and NGOs on the second day. This provides access training opportunities and to help address labour market needs.
