This course provides an introduction to adult learning and tertiary teaching. On successful
completion of this course participants should be able to plan, deliver and assess a basic
range of learning experiences for adult students. The course covers principles of adult
learning, learning styles, components of course design, lesson planning, assessment,
communication skills and managing teaching and learning resources.
